Prayer/fasting event

Harvest Prayer Ministries Presents: Connecting With the Power of God. November 9th and 10th. Dave & Kim Butts, of HPM, will be presenting a seminar in the Family Center on Friday the 9th at 7:00 PM and also on Saturday the 10th, from 9:00 AM - Noon. In conjunction with this, we will be having a 24-hour prayer event. You can sign up for a time slot at the Welcome Center. See Logan with questions.

  • International conference on missions/students

    Logan will be taking a group of teens to the International Conference on Missions in Cincinnati on Saturday, November 17th. For grades 6th - 12th. The trip is FREE- they will only need money for food. The group will leave the church at 7:00 AM on that Saturday. Please see Logan for more info and a permission slip. 

  • tennessee christian teen convention

    January 11th - 13th, 2019. Held in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Open to rising 9th graders through 12th graders. Cost: $125 plus money for three  meals on the road and any souvenirs in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Please see Logan if interested in going. deadline to sign up is November 1st. 

  • food pantry needs

    We are grateful for all the donations to the Food Pantry. We can always use any donations of non-perishable foods. Some suggestions:  canned vegetables and fruit (we do not get very  many donations of fruit), applesauce, canned meats (chicken, tuna), canned soups (especially chicken noodle and vegetable), canned beef stew or chicken & dumplings, dry cereal, oatmeal, boxed mashed potatoes, rice and pasta dishes, macaroni & cheese, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, canned ravioli, beans, bread and pancake mixes, and other boxed or canned goods. 

    Another thing we can use are donations of plastic grocery bags. If you normally throw yours away, please think of keeping them to donate to us. Thank you! 

  • OSX-  operation serve extended

    We are forming a team of volunteers who are willing to be contacted when Operation Serve type needs arise throughout the year. Things such as deliveries, small home repairs, etc. If you are willing to help us extend the love of Operation Serve to others all year long, please fill out a slip at the Welcome Center. You may place it in the offering plate or leave it at the Welcome Center. By signing up, you are only indicating you are interested in being contacted for help when needs arise.

  • operation christmas child

    November 11th is our collection date for the shoe boxes for OCC. Shoe boxes are available in the foyer. Check the Sunday bulletin's for inserts with directions on what to place in the box and how to pack it. Please bring in shoe boxes between November 4th and 11th. See Barb with any questions.
